2nd Half Super Bowl XLII Commercial Analysis

cars.com – wasn’t it painful enough the first time? This one was even dumber than the first.
SalesGenie – I agree that most of these needed second chances
VitaminWater – Shaq as a jockey might overtake Charles Barkley calling Dwayne Wade every 5 seconds for the funniest commercial. I’m so glad he got the VitaminWater endorsement after he saved the mascot in the ESPN ad. Well done.

Anheuser Busch – I would rather see the Geico cavemen. Plus they ruined a beer. Bad.
IceBreakers – I guess Carmen Electra is still kinda hot but that wasn’t funny.
Bridgestone – First Shaq. Now Richard Simmons. ESPN is a gateway commercial. Much funnier than their first try.
careerbuilder.com – Weren’t these the guys with the commercial where the guy had to work with a bunch of chimps? That was way funnier.

Hyundai – As excited as I am about the Genesis (which is about as excited as I get when I pour my bowl of cereal in the morning) I still think I’ll go elsewhere for a car.
Wall-E teaser - Note to self: Buy PIXAR stock before June 27.

Jumper trailer – this looks pretty cool.
Etrade – Thats often the end result when I buy stocks too.
Bud Light – Flying guy > fire breathing guy. That’s the Bud Light we know and love.

NFL Stories – Ephraim Salaam got Chester Pitts into the NFL. That is a cool story.
Ford – That was anti-clamaictic
Comcast – That was weird. If my mom ever sang like that to me I’d be terriffied.
Jeep – Free GPS? Screw the Hyundai Genesis

Sunsilk – that was more of Madonna than I really wanted to see.
Coca-Cola – That was actually entertaining. I’m just glad Stewie didn’t get the bottle of Coke. He was probably distracted by one of the many irrelevant flashbacks that make Family Guy so bad.

Coca-Cola – How did they get James Carville and Bill Frist to be civil?
Toyota Seqouia – I didn’t know soccer moms watched the Superbowl.

You Don’t Mess With The Zohan Trailer – Hahaha. Can’t wait.

E-Trade – Saved it with the “I really underestimated the creepiness” line.
Taco Bell – I didn’t know they could afford a Superbowl commercial after that E-Coli mess. They should have saved their money.
Gatorade – Gatorade from a bowl…..hmm. So that’s what I’ve been doing wrong.

Bud Light – hahaha. Thats the keeper of Bud Light commercials this year. Will Ferrell will turn anything to gold.
Hyundai – I still don’t want a Genesis.
The Moment of Truth – I haven’t commented any of FOX’s programming but…I just wanted to say the Eagles should go after Chad Johnson really really hard.

Victoria’s Secret – that reminds me that I am now taking valentines offers…starting with her.
Amp Energy Drink – If only that dancing guy was the Flyers dancing guy this commercial would have been AWESOME.
American Idol – I can only hope Ben Rothlisberger went on a ride on his motorcycle after that commercial.
